On Aug 17th, the AMC Narragansett Chapter helped organize the first ever Newport Paddlefest, conceived and coordinated by new American Canoe Association (ACA) RI State Director Mark Marosits. In addition to helping plan the event, AMC SUP leaders Mark Allio and George Robillard led a guided SUP excursion from King Park towards Ft. Adams beach and back again, stopping along the way to strengthen paddling skills. The weather was perfect and a good time was had by all!
