Chapter Northern Hiking Chair Description

The Northern Hiking Chair assists the Activities Chair by planning, organizing, and/or locating trip leaders for northern hiking and backpacking trips. The Northern Hiking Chair shall write or approve all northern hiking and backpacking trip notices being submitted for publication. The Northern Hiking Chair budgets for and purchases appropriate equipment and maintains and accounts for such equipment owned by the Chapter.

In addition, the Northern Hiking Chair is responsible for duties as outlined in Article III, Section 3.0, and Article IV, Section 7.0, of these Standing Rules.
