Much Needed Repairs Completed on Vin Gormley Trail

Thank you to David, Tony, Ron, Bill, Holly, Rod, Marc, and Doug, for all your hard work and dedicated efforts, planning and carrying out much-needed trail maintenance, on this year’s annual “National Trails Day” project, along Vin Gormley Trail!  These volunteers completed much needed repairs on aging board walks, improved treadway drainage issues, and brushed out overgrowth from along the sides of the Vin Gormley Trail in Burlingame State Park. The Vin Gormley Trail is one of the most heavily used trails by hikers and bikers that we help maintain. Additional work days are planned for this trail, in July.  If you are interested in volunteering with us, on this or other trail maintenance activities, please email the Trails Committee Chairs at: NATrails@amc-narragansett.org  “Many hands make light work!”
